The Sons of Norway Fraternal Benefit Society was established in 1895 to preserve the best of the Norwegian heritage and culture.

The Sons of Norway has (as of December 31, 2009) over 66,000 members across the United States, Canada, and Norway who belong to over 400 locally-governed lodges. Through each lodge, members celebrate their Norwegian heritage in their own community.

The Norge Lodge #6-060 is located in Vista, California. Presently, Norge Lodge has over 125 members. We promote Norwegian traditions and fraternal fellowship through the cultural and social opportunities offered in local lodge and district lodge activities. These activities include language camps and classes, scholarships, handicrafts, cooking and heritage classes, heritage programs, sports programs, travel opportunities, Viking Magazine, and outreach programs sponsored by the Sons of Norway Foundation.

The Lodge and its members belong to District #6 covering Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah.
